Out of This World SFF is truly delighted to be hosting the official Cover Reveal for BLAZEBRINGER by fantasy author A.J. Norfield! Book three in Norfield's epic dragon fantasy series Stone War Chronicles is set to be released on August 17th. This unique and highly entertaining series introduces a new dragon and characters with each new book and should appeal to all fantasy readers but especially those who appreciate quest/adventure fantasy with a somewhat darker feel.
First up I'd like to kick things off with a brief description of the upcoming release BLAZEBRINGER, followed by the big reveal of this gorgeous cover, plus some additional information about the author and his books:
Back Cover Blurb
There's a thousand ways to die in the jungle and Raylan would like to avoid them all.
There's no rest when you're being hunted. While Raylan and Galirras try to get to know the waterclan siblings and Dalkiera better, the Stone King's forces resurface and attack. Before he knows it, Raylan finds himself surviving the hardships of the Arosh'ad Islands' jungle with a spear at his back and Trista's traumatized younger brother, Decan, by his side. Frustrated by the forced detour, Raylan begins to question the path he's on and the choices he's made.
Meanwhile, Trista and the others turn the town of Baratta upside down to figure out what happened to Raylan and Decan. When even the dragons can't locate them, distress forces them to cooperate with more...questionable characters for a chance to get everyone back safe.
Back east, Richard helps prepare a full-scale counterattack to liberate the city of Azuna. Together with Harwin, Galen and Brenton - the oldest Iron Prince of Tal'Kabur - they launch a daring, dragonless plan to stop the Doskovian invasion dead in its tracks.
The action-packed adventure continues! A new dragon awaits!

The Stone War Chronicles is an epic fantasy dragon adventure that slides toward the darker end of the fantasy genre. Each book introduces a new dragon (and characters) into the mix as the adventure of the MC, Raylan, and his dragon, Galirras, unfolds. What begins as a simple mission to retrieve a stolen artifact, quickly escalates into a fight for their lives as the Stone King's army chases them around the Dark Continent. Immense living statues and horrific predators are just a few of the obstacles they encounter as Raylan's squad tries to protect their new flightless dragon friend from those that wish to abuse its dormant power over the wind.
About the Author
For several years A.J. Norfield worked as a falconer, training and flying the likes of owls, eagles and other types of birds of prey. Next to roughhousing with his kids, he likes to stay active with a mixture of aikido, nature walks and dabbling in the art of archery. A big fan of Japanese RPGs, and anime, he'll often play the swordfighter in any type of game. For writing, he often likes to draw from his experiences with nature and animals, focusing on the bonds, interactions and frictions that inevitably take place when the stakes are high. You can connect with A.J. Norfield online via his Website, Twitter (yes, I refuse to call it X), Goodreads, and Amazon.
And that concludes my cover reveal for BLAZEBRINGER! I really hope you enjoyed it. I would like to extend a huge thank you to author A.J. Norfield for giving me the opportunity to host this reveal. I really hope that everyone has the opportunity to check out A.J.'s books. He's one of a bevy of indie authors out there who are producing top quality entertaining fantasy stories.
Thanks as always for stopping by and supporting the blog. It is so appreciated.
Happy Reading!
- Nick
